Julia Gordon

Director, Animator

Hi! I’m Julia Gordon. I majored in 3D animation and I was the Director for Great Googly. I had quite a few other roles on this film, from rigging to sock puppet crafting, but my passion lies in animation. I had always wanted to tell stories with my art, and the freedom that animation provided as a storytelling medium led me here!

Kacie Herrington

Co-Producer, Technical Production Lead

Hey there! My name is Kacie Herrington and I graduated from SCAD with a BFA in Technical Production. For this film I had the pleasure of getting to be one of the Producers as well as the Technical Production Lead. In my non-technical hours, I love indulging in any and all things music, with a bit of gaming and exploring on the side!

Julia Desderio

Co-Producer, Art Director

Hi! I’m Julia Desderio and I majored in 3D Animation here at SCAD. I was a Producer and Art Director on Great Googly, and I also designed all three of our posters. In my free time, I enjoy reading, drawing, and collecting antiques. I chose animation since I have done theater all my life. I am passionate about acting and music, and animation was the perfect medium for my love of movies and art.

Sam Sommers

Animation Co-Lead

Hello, I’m Sam Sommers. I majored in 3D Animation and I was an Animation Lead on this film. I decided to do animation to create experiences for people to enjoy and be immersed in just as much as I am every time I consume media. In my free time I ride horses and play video games of all types. I also enjoy watching softball, women’s gymnastics and Formula 1.

Ponta Azarmginhaghighi

Hi! My name is Ponta Azarmginhaghighi. I majored in 3D Animation and I was a character animator on Great Googly! My favorite pastimes are working on motion-capture projects, cosplaying, gaming, and drawing. I fell love with 3D and motion capture animation which led me to revive the Mocap Club as President and share my passion with others.

James Hou

3D Animation

Hey! This is James Hou from Chengdu, China. I studied 3D Animation here at SCAD. On Great Googly, I was responsible for 3D animation. Animation influenced me a lot growing up, and Naruto is my favorite anime.

Luna Sosa

Animation Co-Lead, Story Lead

I’m Luna Sosa, a 3D Animation major with a VFX minor. I wore many hats on Great Googly as a Story-Con Lead, Animation Lead, and Lighting lead. I watched a lot of cartoons growing up and that inspired me to study animation. I love telling stories and bringing them to life is something I’ve always dreamed of.

Jane Kim

Textures Lead, Technical Animator

Hello, I’m Jane! I am a technical animator and was responsible for texturing the majority of the living room, Pixie, and more! Aside from animation I dance and do k-pop covers, play games including League of Legends, figure skate and enjoy exploring life.

Moriah Thompson

3D Animation

Hi all! My name is Moriah Thompson. I majored in 3D Animation and I was a character animator on Great Googly! I enjoy animating, voice acting, and sculpting. I’m also a big fan of musicals and X-Men comics.

Alex Beran

Story & Concept

Hello there! I’m Alex Beran. I majored in Story & Concept and I was the story artist on this film! I enjoy drawing and building miniatures in my free time. I chose animation because I’ve always had a love for cartoons and I want to create stories to share with audiences!
